You can see. You can’t read.

Every parental supervision tool built by a social network so far has either shown parents too little to matter, or too much and burned the teen’s trust. Trinity Family draws the line differently: you see who your teen is talking to. You never see what they said.

Nothing. Not yet.

Version one is visibility only. You can’t force privacy, ban accounts, freeze the app, or override your teen’s settings. A supervision tool with control levers is a coercion tool if the wrong person gets on the other end of it — and today we have no way to verify you’re actually the parent, not a stranger with an email. Controls arrive after real identity verification lands. In the meantime, if something on your teen’s account looks wrong, you talk to your teen.

You don't need a Trinity account.

When you sign in with your email, we create a supervision-only account for you. It’s not a social profile. It can’t post, comment, message, follow anyone, or be found in search. It only exists to see your teen’s activity. Delete it and it’s gone — no history, no followers, no digital afterlife.

Nothing runs behind their back.

You send a request from the parent dashboard. Your teen sees it as a banner at the top of their feed with your name, photo, phone number, and every scope word listed above. They tap Accept — or Decline. If they Decline, you can’t retry them for a week. If they ignore it, the request expires in seven days on its own.

Your teen sees what you see.

The same policy list on this page lives inside your teen’s Settings → Family screen. Every word about what you can see, and every word about what you never see, is served to both of you from the same source. If we ever changed what a parent could see, we’d have to change what the teen was told at the same moment. There is no hidden second screen.

No fuzzy search for kids.

You have to enter your teen’s exact @handle. Ask them for it. Trinity Family does not offer a search box that returns lists of children’s names and ages — that would let any adult on the internet browse minors thirty seconds after signing up. If fuzzy search ever comes back, it comes back behind real identity verification with every query logged.

Your teen’s account is protected before you ever link.

Minors are first-class users on Trinity — they can post, message, discover, follow, and build a Top 8 like anyone else. They also get every safety default written into the app itself, not hidden in a settings menu they’ll never find. None of this depends on being linked to a parent.

· Private profile locked on — 13–17 accounts are private, follow-request-only
· Adult DM shield — accounts 18+ can't open a thread with a minor who doesn't follow them back
· Night blackout 00:00–06:00 local — posting, DMing, and going live are blocked overnight
· Content pre-moderated — every image and video is scanned before it reaches the feed
· Crisis resources one tap away — 988 and Crisis Text Line surface on keyword hits, private to the teen
· Safety controls always visible — report and block aren't buried two menus deep
