Adults can't DM minors first
An account 18+ cannot open a message thread with a minor who doesn't follow them back. Enforced on the server, not the client. Blocks the grooming vector before it starts.
Night blackout for minors
Posting, DMing, and going live between 00:00 and 06:00 local time is blocked for accounts under 18. Doesn't require a parent to turn it on.
Crisis resources built in
988 and Crisis Text Line surface as a non-blocking banner when the app detects a keyword hit. What the teen views stays confidential — never surfaces to a parent.
